Technology has changed the course of human evolution. Through most of our history, we've been creative with our use of plants and nature to make food and medicine in order to survive. Technology has now reached a point where we have full domination over the natural world. It's not about surviving, but fueling our economy.

While technology is still a virtue when used appropriately, it's caused us to lose touch with nature. Our quest for economic growth is disrupting it and we are only beginning to understand how. We've lost the close relationship that our ancestors had with the land. Human progress is still essential, but we cannot have it at the expense of the environment.

I call for turning our innovative forces of technology towards these problems, and specifically by doing it at the individual level. It's up to us to educate ourselves on how we can live a sustainable lifestyle that brings ourselves back into a balance with the natural world. Follow along as I explore these innovative new approaches and show how to integrate them into your life. Let's bring technology and nature back into balance and harmony!
